Setting up your router

Choosing your Router location.
Obviously the Router needs to be connected directly to the ONT, but using a different length ethernet cable opens up the possibility of situating the router almost anywhere in the property.

For the strongest Wi-Fi signal, we recommend placing your router:

✔ As centrally as possible.

✔ On a shelf or table.

✔ Away from thick walls.

✔ Away from televisions.

✔ Away from cordless phones.

✔ Away from microwaves.

Avoid placing the router:

✖ Inside cupboards.

✖ Behind furniture.

✖ On the floor.

✖ Next to large metal objects.
