What's an ONT?

ONT stands for Optical Network Terminal, and may be referred to as the 'box on the wall'.
The ONT connects your home to the fibre network outside.
The ONT connects to the router via an ethernet cable, allowing the router to connect to the internet.
Think of the ONT as a translator that turns the superfast light signals into a language that your router can understand.
